Scott, I'm with you here, despite what others may say.  I've tried
scanning services, every conceivable variation on settings on my
scanner, other high end scanners, nothing.  Kodachrome is at this
point not scannable to my satisfaction.  I do not have this problem
however with other film types, esp negatives.
