Hi Glen

I'm familiar with Peter's site, haven't been there for a while, but find his 
opinions quite refreshing, always wanted a Ricoh XR7 after reading his 
opinions but sadly never bought one. Maybe the SP differs from the Super A in 
respect to the top plate, after extensive use the Super A shows brassing to 
the shoulders etc, it's also cold to the touch..........or maybe there's a 
coating of brass applied before the black enamel and it may well be plastic, 
but it sure feels like diecast metal to me.
