That is an excellent lens. I need to get the "A" pin on mine fixed,
but it's in my regular carry back, even with the DS2 body. I have an
older Takumar Bayonet 28/2.8, which is _absolutely_ identical to the
A28/2.8, except for the lens coatings, and the lack of an "A" position
on the aperture ring. The Takumar cost me about half of what the
A28/2.8 did. The lens coatings help in direct-sun shooting, but I used
the Takumar bayonet for a couple of years, and took some beautiful
shots with it.
