We actually had pretty clear skies here, I made a few shots, nothing that I'm too impressed with though. To do it well you would really need an equatorial mount or a D3 ;-) The following pic is an HDR composite of five images shot two stops apart, using my K10D with A*300/2.8 and 1.7AF TC. They had to be manually aligned as the moon moves surprisingly quickly across the sky. I've not settled on the best tone-map settings for the LDR output file and I'd also like to try to manually mask out some of the flare from the longer exposures at some point. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y259/BigVdub/Pics/IMGK02116-IMGPK02120.jpg -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://picasaweb.google.com/distudio/PESO http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
