Tamron Generations as I understand them: 1. 28-200/3.8-5.6 LD (same as Pentax) (no close focus) 2. 28-200/3.8-5.6 LD Super (close focus at 135mm) 3. 28-200/3.8-5.6 LD Super II (closer focus throughout range) 4 28-200/3.8-5.6 XR Super (not sure on this one as haven't played with one)
