No, blind luck has little to do with it. I don't shoot a lot more with digital 
than I did with vilm  It's a question of improvement via careful thought with 
the 6x7 vs. improvement via feedback and practice with digital. Feedback is 
critical to learning. I used to teach composition to teenagers. I noticed early 
on that there progress correlated directly with the quantity and quality of my 
critiques. When you can see what you're doing wrong, it's much easier to do it 
right the next time. Digital is a big plus in that respect.
