Thanks Bob. I was expecting to be disappointed as we had cloudy weather after a week of clear skies. Luckily it started clearing at about the right time (just after the eclipse started).
I just shot from my back porch, while wishing I was somewhere like Tekapo where the skies are about as clear as it gets and they're miles away from the light pollution of any city.
