To tell the truth, in all honesty.  It is a very pretty sunset.

If it is just a momento of the splendid evening it's fine.  However if it's 
intended to be something more than that, I think you may have needed to seek 
out a different vantage point, if possible.

Bill's crops resulting in removal of the structure and some of the sky, 
thereby creating a perceived lower angle in the shot were both good ones.
