If you haven't taken that first exposure, you should be able to back it
out without losing any exposures. Just push in the rewind release and
slowly rewind until you feel the leader come free.
I'd just rewind it all the way back into the cartridge, but I have a
good leader extractor, so it's easy for me to pull the leader out again.
