Nice light. Good pose. But you're right, the bokeh is a distraction. Avoid busy backgrounds with uneven illumination. I don't think there's a lens made that would render something like that nicely. To help this shot I would blur the background a bit then maybe paint over it with a medium gray at about 50% opacity.
