It's better to just use the HTML standard font names like "serif", "sans-serif", and "monospace". That way you use the ones the end-user has chosen. By the same token, it's best only to specify the relative font sizes, like "5" and "normal" instead of absolute font sizes, like "12pt" or "12px", since you won't foul up the end-user's choices.
