If you're staying in the city then there's Clarence St Cyclery - http://www.cyclery.com.au/ - and City Bike Depot - http://www.citybikedepot.com.au/index.asp. <http://www.citybikedepot.com.au/index.asp> Of the 2 I'd go to City Bike Depot before Clarence St - the latter are known to charge thru the nose. There's a couple of good ones further out, but it'd mean taxi trips of varying distance (and cost). Of these, Bike Addiction - http://www.bikeaddiction.com.au/ - is very good and probably worth the trip. They're at North Manly, which means a nice ferry trip from the city and a short taxi ride to the shop. There's also Phantom Cycles - http://www.phantomcycles.com.au/home.php - they're way out of the city, but their mail order is extremely good and their customer service is impeccable (from direct experience).
