Actually.... The plan/idea is/was to give my DS to my daughter when she graduates from college in December. If I didn't have a camera to give her, I couldn't rightly upgrade to the K10D. This way, I have a "real" camera until then, and I get to give it to her! We both win. :-) And... Tim - that picture of the DS in pieces was certainly quite scary.
