A possible modification to the itinerary (which was centered on Old City and the historic district) is the annual Rittenhouse Square arts and crafts festival. Rittenhouse Square is a lovely city park about a ten-minute walk from the train station, and their fall crafts fair is fairly dripping with shooting opportunities.
