Not really. Lots of people are still shooting it, and some are going back (or trying film for the first time). Shooting film has a different feel to it and some people simply prefer it. It's valid speculation. May not happen in a serious way, but it is happening (and it's driven prices up on a lot of MF kit, since if you're going to go back to film, why not get big negs) I'm one of them.
