Rick, you don't mention what test and what settings - I presume that you know there is a Colorsync Utility in Go>Utilities>Colorsync Utility ? There, you can access and sort ICC profiles, devices, etc. Also, to calibrate your monitor, look in Apple Menu>System Preferences>Displays and click on 'Color'. In the printing application, make sure that it knows that Colorsync is controlling the color and nothing else. Watch out for printer drivers - they often have a preference to allow third aprty color control - you want Colorsync and nothing else (if indeed you want Colorsync to control the workflow). When I do tests, I make a block colour chart and I'm only satisfied when the colours on the monitor match the colours on the page :-) HTH -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
