Rick, you don't mention what test and what settings - I presume that you
know there is a Colorsync Utility in Go>Utilities>Colorsync Utility  ?
There, you can access and sort ICC profiles, devices, etc. Also, to
calibrate your monitor, look in Apple Menu>System Preferences>Displays
and click on 'Color'.

In the printing application, make sure that it knows that Colorsync is
controlling the color and nothing else. Watch out for printer drivers -
they often have a preference to allow third aprty color control - you
want Colorsync and nothing else (if indeed you want Colorsync to control
the workflow).

When I do tests, I make a block colour chart and I'm only satisfied when
the colours on the monitor match the colours on the page :-)
