Hello Frits, My wife shoots that camera. A quick glance through her files indicates a range of just over 1 mb to just over 2mb with the default settings on the camera. I think I would lean towards 1.7mb for an average. For the price difference between a 1 and 2 gb SD card, you might as well go with 2 X 2 gb. One in camera and one spare.
