I saw one on Saturday, though not as exciting as that. We were just
approaching Moose Jaw when we were passed by a rig carrying sone sort of
large farm implement. There is a bridge crossing the highway just north of
town that is marked 4.5M clearance. As the rig went past, I asked my wife if
she thought the load was taller than that, I was pretty sure it was over
height. I slowed right down to put some good yardage between us, and sure
enough, the guy sheared the top off the machine, with a few big chunks of it
flying right over a car that was coming off the cloverleaf. It was qite
amazing to watch, from a distance. I wouldn't have wanted to be in that car,
even though, somehow, it managed to not get hit by anything.
