I have no idea whether there's any "investment" value to a special edition K10D body. I had the winder but never used it, found it made the camera heavy and bulky unnecessarily. I've never seen any VPN from my K10D. Personally, I'd go with the heart on this kind of thing. I own two "special edition" cameras, supposedly collectibles, but to me they're just pretty versions of the same thing I'd have gotten otherwise and not otherwise more valuable or a better investment: I just liked them. I normally buy a camera based on its value for my use, the cheaper I can get it for the better.
