Hi all. For those that are interested in 'ol chainsaws work dilemma's, i have made, what has been a major work related decision to day.
The store building job is just not cooperating with my back. However in the last few days i have been offered two driving jobs. One for a car parts company here in town and the other by the oversize load escort company. I muled this over all night and most of today, each having + and -'s. I have decided, right or wrong, to go with the escort job. I was leery about flying solo right away, but he will be sending me with other escort drivers at first, so as to get better acquainted. I was also hoping to keep up my equine photography in the summer, and he sees little or no problems with working around that. Its basically a part time job anyway, as you never know when the loads come in.Might work 3-4 days one week, then nothing for 4-5 then 1-2 days, etc. Should work out, as i got very used to having tea in the morning and beers in the afternoon, in the back yard all summer. Having that extra bit of time at home should be nice next year. Neither pays that great, but my back and feet will thank me. LOL I have to say, i feel a great weight lifted off me now, just hope i made the right call. Lots of USA work,Florida, New Mexico etc. Looks like good photo ops for sure.:-) Dave -- Equine Photography www.caughtinmotion.com http://brooksinthecountry.blogspot.com/ Ontario Canada -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
