So just turn off the bits that get in the way. What's the big deal? You can lock the four main panels open or closed, remove or collapse any of the subpanels you don't need to use, etc. Not that I have anything against iMatch, but the fact that they only provide their software on the Windows platform makes them a non- starter in my view. (Same feeling I have about Aperture in the other direction, to be sure.)
