Somebody was dumping NOS then, MSRP on the N80 alone was twice that (the F100 was a $1200+ body new). The only Nikon film cameras available new now are the F6 and (cosina-built) FM10, and the latter is only new as Nikon knows the day after they discontinue it the Bessaflex F will be announced.
