Bruce, I never said that my desire to have full frame lenses was absolute. Yet, you're right that I kind of contradict myself. It is just that for the purpose of travel/walk/leisure I still need gear that gives me coverage. Currently I don't have anything longer than 77 ltd and FAJ 18-35 is a good lens, but it's zoom range is terribly inconvenient. So I have to see how I can work around these limitations. So, I am willing albeit with reservations to have one DA super zoom lens that will allow me to both have coverage and have just one lens on the camera. It will also make my filter management simpler, etc. Not long ago I had to take with me 18-35 and 28-75 lenses - one for wide angle another for speed. It was a nightmare to have to change lenses in all kinds of unusual conditions. So with K10D anti-shake I think I can manage with 18-250 lens. Admittedly this will be a rather special purpose lens whereas my regular shooting with be done either with Tamron 28-75/2.8 or with limited series prime lenses. -- Boris -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
