Time to time I experience the problem that it takes extremely long time to render the image in Lightroom, i.e. I see the typical "JPEG-ish" squares, both in the fit-on-screen size and when zoomed-in. Then, if I adjust some parameters (e.g. sharpening), the picture appears normally, but then, if I pan it or zoom in/out, it again shows that rugged images (I guess it is the small JPEG preview stored in the RAW file). This can happen even on the files that were just recently imported, so that the full-size previews should be available.
I did "relaunch and optimize". Sometimes it helps, sometime it doesn't. Usually it goes away after 2-10 minutes since the LR was started. Does anybody observe it? Any ideas how to deal with it?
