It was intended to be a framing element.  From my memory the distance
between the tree and the building was quite far.  So the ability to
render it all in focus would have been extremely difficult.  Anyway,
this is all from my dim memory - the shot is what it is.  I'm glad you
like it, and I'm sure that many feel as Bill does.
