If you haven't done it yet you need to visit the Mobile gas station just out side Lee Vining @ the junction of the Tioga Pass road & 395. We were there several years ago & the term "gas station" doesn't do it justice. The food was great ! Sandwiches up to full meals. It was the subject of a write up in New York Times (?). Plus the entertainment was great - they had an Australian Sheepdog (?) that would ride a skateboard! plus they had a circus size trapeze set up in the parking lot that the workers would work out on. Don't know how much its changed over the years but if you're in the area it's worth a stop.
