Jeffersonville, NY is NOT in upstate New York to ANYONE in the country
except the denizens of Gotham (NYC). Only they would have the gall to call a
place inside the lower panhandle of the state "upstate"! To everyone else in
NY, you're not upstate until you're north of the Mohawk river.
