I picked up my P645 with the 45mm lens on it. Seems just as easy to  
see whether it's in focus as the K10D with the 43mm lens. Of course,  
the screen is a lot bigger.

I never used focusing aids, find them distracting. My P645 screen is  
a matte screen just like the K10D screen.

But this "ease of focusing" thing is very personal. I found the MX to  
have too much magnification and too little eye relief, for instance.
