I ordered my DS before they were even in stores yet (got on a waiting list!) and paid about $1,100 for it (with the Kit Lens). Sure wish I had enough to get the K10D now. Even though it's about half (!!!) the price, the word from the CFO is "don't you already have a Digital SLR?".
