Stan, you are not alone. I placed an order at Adorama for the same lens ( DA* 16-50mm f2.8) on March 21. Then in August I saw a charge request in my CC, I called Adorama to see for the actual shipping date, and they said that the charge was a mistake ( uhh?) and that the lens had not been received by them yet, sure a couple days later the CC showed no trace of the charge. Waited and waited, no lens! Meanwhile some months ago I had wondered in B&H looked for the lens, they had a no stock but they allow you to get emailed as soon the status "in stock" showed up. So I signed up and about a week ago I got an email for the lens been in stock, placed an order and canceled Adorama's order ( they are still no stock!) I got the lens 2 days later. It seems Adorama is not supporting Pentax the same way as before there are other dealers with the lens in stock or at least have received them and have been sold out. I do not know why Adorama did not got the lens. Angel Ramos
