Given Cotty's tourettes like outbursts I'm not surprised :-) I just checked my archives, His "ground pod" is an aluminium fry pan with a threaded stud (I assume) & a ball head mounted.
I gather Christian uses it when he's crawling on his belly stalking & shooting his targets.
