Yes, It was gorgeous. I saw one at the Wright-Patterson Air Museum many
years ago. It was once called the" Missile with a Man in It" and the
"Widowmaker". I once thought a good nam for it would be "Stilletto" as it
looks like a long, thin blade stabbing through the air. I believe it once
held the low level speed record, but I don't know any details.
I never got to see a B-58 "Hustler", but I've seen photos. Let me in the
cockpit - I'll pay for her services any day.
