I have no idea what you're seeing, Ken. I've punched the photo around  
every which way I can think of with CS2 and cannot make any magenta  
band stand out. A Color Selection command does not show anything  
magenta in the image file either.

Do me a favor: Make it stand out, have whatever palettes with the  
settings you used to do that visible on the screen, and take a  
screenshot. Email that to me. I'm extremely curious as to what you're  
seeing.
