The Seattle-Bremerton route will provide lots of opportunities for shots of the Seattle skyline and expansive views of Mt. Rainier over Puget Sound, weather permitting. I may have been on the other route, but can't remember.
If you happen to be working or located down by Lake Union, there's the Seattle Center for Wooden Boats at the very south end of Lake Union that is free and interesting. Opportunities for shots like: http://pug.komkon.org/00febr/WoodenBoats.htm It's close to other marinas. Lots of good seafood restaurants in walking distance, but since you're from Boston, you're probably used to it.
