Thanks for all the comments on #44. Another from Berkeley on Sunday ... For this one I had the camera in my lap, held vertically, and set the focus and exposure purely by guess as it was too dark in the room to see the numbers on the shutter speed dial or on the lens. I could find the infinity mark and turned the focusing ring by the amount I thought was about right, and I could find the A setting and then click-stop to the 1/2 second mark. I made two exposures, this one is sharp enough.
