I don't know where the CD for the MX is, but the one for the Optio 50 has
ACDSee for Pentax and Quick Time 6 on it.  I'll install them both later and
see what happens.

The software CD that came with my Optio MX included a full version of 
ACDSee that has nice, simple video editing application.
