I have noticed that often the price from a vendor is cheaper from their website than it is from their ebay listing. But the point of an auction is to drive up the price, if the buyer does not know what something commonly sells for and wants it badly enough he is likely to cheat himself. Then again, for some people $600 is lunch money, how many of us shop around for the cheapest price on lunch?
