Both of these lenses have been available in the past in F mount, with 
excellent reputations. The 40/2 is not one I'd pick over the 43, but the 
58 is very intersting as it duplicates a standard 35mm length that's 
mostly been ignored of late (the 85). Note that Pentax will also be 
filling these shoes with the DA* 55mm f1.4 SDM due next year. A 50 is 
noticably shorter on 1.5x crop bodies.
