I've owned both but never at the same time, so it's not quite a "side by side" comparison, but the Pentax tubes have a nice textured (anodized, I believe) black finish. I think the Vivitars are just painted black. Quite nice but not as nice as the Pentax. >And, more importantly, what the differences are in the resulting image?
