Somehow, the "read only" box was checked for the folder containing the photos. So, I un-checked it, verified that the files themselves had nothing checked, copied everything to the flash key again, and they =still= won't transfer. I get two messages, "There is something wrong with the file" or "the file is busy". Aargh. Makes me look back fondly on sorting slides. Rick =========== When all else fails, reboot.
