Ah, I wasn't aware of that. I've only started looking at the Minolta/Sony stuff 
recently as I got a chance to play with the A700 and found it to have the most 
pleasing ergonomics I've run across in an AF camera (Similar to the K10D, but a 
better rear button layout IMHO).
