Actually I think they just lived in Italy at the time <GRIN>. As I have read more and more, I am coming to believe the Romans and the Greeks were the barbarians and that everyone around them were more civilized. Unfortunately they were the ones that left written records; these days it seems like most to those records were propaganda rather than history. But I guess that almost all written history is propaganda when you think about it a bit. <SIGH>
