Thank you for the compliment on my web site. I don't use filters all that often. Good filters can be used to filter light to improve the image, but they do cost some light. That's a complex subject which I recommend you pick up a photography book to read about. It's a bit too much to comment on in an email. BTW, please don't use "ALL CAPS" when sending notes.
