Especially when one is  in a location or situation that cannot be revisited.

Though, I admit, I  forget to look most of the time. I am making an effort 
now to do it more often.  It can tell me when I am way off -- framing or 
exposure-wise. For instance, if I  look I can spot when I am shooting crooked 
-- 
horizons, as that is something I  tend to do.
