I shoot DNG. I bought the K10D before any 3rd-party converters were available, so DNG was the only choice.
I like the convenience of embedded xmp files in the DNG format, so I archive everything as DNG. Since I have to convert to compressed DNG (to save space), shooting DNG doesn't give me a significant advantage over PEF. It's mostly just habit now. If memory cards weren't so cheap now I'd probably shoot PEF and convert to DNG.
