I'm wondering if the latter will see a DA* version. It would make a lot of sense as the wide match to teh 16-50 and 50-135 (which is what it does for Tokina). And Tokina did have their versions of the DA*'s out much earlier. ----- I suspect that the 11-16 is a Tokina design, as was the 12-24. I suspect this in part because Pentax has announced nothing about it. I hope we see a DA 11-16. It is a constant F2.8 lens. If it is good it could take the place of my DA 14.
