For the record, I do not have a fancy workshop. I have a workbench I built about 12 years ago shoved up against a dividing wall that separates an ancient toilet from the rest of the basement. (Parts were scavenged from the tank to fix the one upstairs, so it doesn't even work, damnit.) I spent two hours a few days ago cleaning off the bench and putting tools away so that I could actually see the work surface. Took another hour before I could work on the bike.
