Give yourself a present.

This is the older, non-DG version. It is also the non-macro version
(which means that it is better at 200 mm than the current macro
version). I will part with it sadly, but just acquired the FA* 80-200 F2.8.

This one is a classic: Sharp across the zoom range and a very good
performer overall. I have had it about 4-1/2 years, but haven't used it
much since Pentax's DSLRs came out. The optics are fine, with a little
dust inside that won't affect images. (It hasn't affected mine.) The
body is perfect except for a small area at the tripod collar where the
paint has rubbed down to metal. This really is very small. It lacks the
hood and has a replacement front cap. The rear cap is original.

The current, macro version of this lens is not available in Pentax
mount, and it is not clear if it will be any time soon. When it does
become available, the macro version is not as good at 200 mm. as this lens.

On the used market this lens is nearly unobtainable. Many people want one.

Holiday price: U.S. $950.00 + shipping. Contact me if interested:

It would bring this much on eBay, possibly a bit more.

Happy weekend, all.
