Sounds like everyone involved had a good attitude!

One of my favorite spots in Bath is a restaurant called "The Walrus and
the Carpenter". A real eclectic place with excellent food. Run by a
former hippie, it seems. When Lisa and I went there he instantly took
us ad kindred spirits and stopped at our table to chat every time he
came by. Best line: "I did the 60's *really well* so I have some
serious short-term memory loss!"
