Probably is a bit noisy. I had the camera set up for variable ISO up to 1000. 
The light changes rapidly in the woods, and the variable ISO gives me the best 
chance at a critter shot. Using the 400 handheld I like to keep the shutter at 
1/500th or faster. Grace was in the shade here, so it may well have been ISO 
1000. (Can't check now. I'm at work.)
